The Wilbanks WH-450 Homeostatic Incubator is commercial-grade reptile incubation equipment engineered for professional breeding facilities that demand precision, reliability, and biological accuracy. Built on the same homeostatic thermal cycling system used throughout the Wilbanks breeding operation, the WH-450 is designed to mimic natural nest conditions rather than holding an artificial, flat temperature.

The WH-450 operates by rising to a defined set point, gradually cooling up to 3°F, and then returning to that set point. This controlled thermal cycling creates a realistic incubation average that more closely reflects how reptile eggs develop in nature. Through decades of large-scale production use, this approach has consistently resulted in strong, robust neonates. The system actively heats and cools, allowing the WH-450 to be used for both egg incubation and reptile brumation within the same cabinet.

Capacity & Configuration

The WH-450 is optimized for high-volume Ball Python production and can accommodate up to 35 standard Ball Python clutches with shelves installed. Internal dimensions measure 20 3/8" W × 21" D × 63 3/8" H, providing substantial vertical capacity in a controlled footprint.

Removable shelving allows professional breeders to configure the interior based on clutch size, egg box style, and workflow preferences. By removing select shelves, the WH-450 can be optimized for single shoe box Ball Python clutches, with a maximum capacity of up to 40 clutches depending on arrangement.

Commercial-Grade Construction

The WH-450 features locking glass doors, internal air filtration, and real-time temperature monitoring to support even airflow and consistent conditions throughout the cabinet. Every component is selected for long-term use in active breeding rooms where continuous operation, repeatability, and reliability are essential.

Wilbanks incubators are shipped via freight delivery with appropriate handling for commercial equipment. Shipping costs and delivery options are calculated at checkout based on destination and order size.

Shipping & Damage Policy

All incubators are carefully inspected, tested, and securely packaged prior to shipment. Please inspect your delivery immediately upon arrival. If any visible box or product damage is present, do not accept the shipment or clearly note the damage with the carrier before signing.

Failure to report damage at delivery may limit our ability to file a freight claim or replace the full unit. In cases of minor cosmetic damage, replacement parts may be provided when appropriate.
