Mexican Black Kingsnake – Breeders Choice '26
KS-MBK-BC
- In stock, ready to ship
Mexican Black Kingsnakes (Lampropeltis getula nigrita) are among the most striking and sought-after kingsnakes in the reptile hobby. Known for their beautiful, glossy jet-black coloration, these snakes develop a sleek, almost polished appearance that makes them stand out in any collection. Their dark scales can display a subtle iridescent sheen under the right lighting.
Mexican Black Kingsnakes are especially popular for their manageable adult size, hardy nature, and generally enthusiastic feeding response. They are an excellent choice for reptile enthusiasts looking for a beautiful display animal, while their distinctive appearance also makes them highly desirable among kingsnake breeders.
Our Breeders Choice animals are selected from our current available stock by the experienced team at Wilbanks Reptiles. This option allows you to purchase the species you want without selecting a specific individually photographed animal—and makes it easy to purchase multiple animals when available.
Please Note: Photos shown are representative examples only. The animal pictured is not the exact animal you will receive. Coloration, size, and overall appearance will naturally vary between individuals. Younger Mexican Black Kingsnakes may display lighter markings that typically darken as they mature.
Every animal is individually inspected before leaving our facility and is backed by the Wilbanks Reptiles Live Arrival and Health Guarantee.
