Blackhead Ball Python Genetics Explained

Blackhead is an incomplete dominant Ball Python morph, meaning one copy of the gene produces a visual Blackhead, while two copies create a Super Blackhead. The Blackhead gene reduces blushing, increases contrast, and pushes darker coloration, often visually dominating other morphs in combinations. Super Blackhead examples show even heavier pattern reduction and intensified darkness. Great substrate, cost effective for multiple ball pythons and a cornsnake

Before I was spending an easy 900 or so on substrate for my snakes using forest floor and jungle mix, for 24 cu ft per bag, this stuff is good for humidity and cost effective, 1.5 bags per 120 gallons, 2 bags for the 150 gallon enclosure, i would recommend to anyone that has ball pythons or any humid loving snake!
